Brushless motors with neodymium magnets are currently the most modern power units for RC model aircraft. Among the main benefits of brushless motors is the very high efficiency through a wide range of loads resulting in longer flight times. The main benefit of the high torque AXI motor with a rotating drum is the capability to turn larger diameter and higher pitched propellers with high efficiency without the need for a gearbox. Manufactured with advanced technologies from the finest materials including neodymium magnets, ball bearing supported steel shafts, and overall robust but lightweight construction ensure a very long service life. The AXI solution offers a very good weight/power/price ratio.
